Lanmic Kids Tennis Academy: Empowering the Next Generation Through Sport

Lanmic Group continues to extend its commitment to employee well-being beyond the workplace with the launch of the Lanmic Kids Tennis Academy, an initiative for the children of its staff. Introduced by founders Mr. Chandana Bopitiya and Mrs. Kishani Bopitiya, the program aims to encourage children to stay physically active in today’s digital age.
The official opening ceremony was held on 25th April 2026, marking the beginning of an exciting journey for young tennis enthusiasts.
The program is fully supported by Lanmic Group, with all necessary tennis equipment and training infrastructure provided by the company. Training sessions are conducted by Mr. Jayarathna, an experienced tennis coach with over 40 years of expertise, ensuring high-quality guidance for the children.
Currently, more than 25 children are actively participating in the program. The academy focuses on building foundational skills while also supporting those who show potential to pursue tennis at a national level, with continued guidance from the company.
Parents have expressed their appreciation for the initiative, highlighting the value of providing children with opportunities to engage in sports and develop new skills.
