During the renovation process, we meticulously preserved the essence of Mapitigama Walawwa while enhancing its existing structure. From January to October, our dedicated team worked tirelessly to breathe new life into this historic estate.

Nestled in the heart of Amithirigala village, Mapitigama Walawwa enjoys an enviable location. Within a kilometer of the Thalduwa-Katunayeke express road, it is surrounded by majestic mountains and lush greenery. Originally intended for material storage, the land’s potential was soon realized to be far greater. Our visionary Managing Director, Mr. M. U. Bopitiya, made a bold decision—to transform it into a vacation retreat for LANMIC employees. To complement the serene vibes of our vacation house at Mapitigama Walawwa, we envision integrating smart technology greenhouses into the landscape.
