Celebrating 25 Years of Success and honoring our Long-standing Employees

Lanmic recently celebrated the 25th anniversary with a special event dedicated to honoring our long-standing employees. Comprising five subsidiaries, including Lanka Minerals and Chemicals, Lanmic Exports, LFO Holdings, Lanmic Polymer, and Lanmic Agro, Lanmic Group’s journey has been one of perseverance and achievement.

The Lanmic Achiever’s Night took place at the Golden Rose Hotel in Boralasgamuwa on April 5th, 2024. Group’s Directors, including Mr. Manawachandra Bopitiya, Mrs. Kishani Bopitiya, Mrs. Udesha Bopitiya and Mr. Pramodh Nallaperuma, the employees as well as a few of its long-term suppliers and partners Mr. Vijitha Bandara, Mr. Auranga, Mr. Kithsiri, Mr. JK and Mr. Janaka were present at the event.

The event shone a spotlight on the dedication and commitment of Lanmic’s workforce. The highlight of the evening was the recognition of employees based on their years of service, with awards and presents presented in categories of 10, 15, and 20 years. A total of sixty-three individuals were honored for their loyalty and invaluable contributions to Lanmic Group. Furthermore, four outstanding employees were chosen as Best Employees of the Year.

Mr. Manawachandra Bopitiya, the Managing Director of Lanmic Group, expressed profound gratitude to the employees, acknowledging their tireless efforts and dedication as the driving force behind the company’s growth. He emphasized that Lanmic’s journey from its humble beginning to its current corporate stature would not have been possible without them.

In commemorating 25 years of excellence, Lanmic Group will continue to serve its esteemed customers as best as possible by fostering growth, innovation, and continued support for its long-standing employees, recognizing them as invaluable assets vital to its success for years to come.
